Uploading Images and PDF documents

To upload images and PDF documents:

  • Select “Media” from the left-hand menu
  • Select “Add New” from the top
  • Find the image or file located on your computer and upload

Changing an image on your website

Navigate to the page or post where the image is currently placed and select “Edit with Elementor” to edit the page

For images that are used as a Background (there is content on top of the image) you will need to edit the “SECTION” or “COLUMN” where the image is shown.

For example, to edit the background image in the image below, we either select the section by clicking on it, or right-click and select “Edit Section”

Then, on the left-hand section, select the “Style” tab and click on the image to change.

To update an image that is not used as a background, simply click on the image and update the image on the left-hand editor

Using a PDF in an email

You can’t upload a pdf file into an email for security purposes. The work around is to upload the pdf file onto your website, and link the email campaign to your website to show the pdf file. To do this:

Upload the PDF to your “Media” section on your website as shown above in the upload images section.

Then click on your newly uploaded pdf file to view the details.

On the new window, select the “Copy URL to Clipboard”

And now you can paste that link into a button on an email campaign, or anywhere on your website
